This program is used by RV rental operations to report the build of reservation volume. Note that reservations in statuses "O" (open) and "F" (filled) are included in the report.

In the default settings, this report lists the number of reservations that were booked within the last 14 days for pickup within the next 14 rental days.

To access this program, type RESBUILD (RET) at any menu "OPTION:" field or the appropriate line number from the Reservation menu. The screen will then display:

Enter data as follows:

1. RES TYPE

This report can be limited to retail or tour reservations. Enter:

1 = report retail reservations only
2 = report tour reservations only (a wholesale voucher is on the reservation)
3 = report all reservations

2. LOCATION

Enter up to 6 alphanumeric characters to indicate the pick-up location. Enter

A Group Name representing several locations (see the Chapter Edit Group Names for a discussion on location groups). Remember, the first character of a Group Name is the plus sign "+".

Press RETURN to include all locations.

3. CLASS

For vehicle class, enter:

Up to 4 alphanumeric characters representing a class code to limit the report to a single class.

A Class Group Name representing multiple classes (see the Chapter Edit Class Groups for details on class groups.) The first character of a Group Name is the plus sign "+".

Press RETURN to include all classes.

4. START ROLL DATE

Using the selected date format, enter the starting roll date (pick-up date). Press (RET) to default to today's date.

5. END ROLL DATE

Using the selected date format, enter the ending roll date (pick-up date). Press (RET) to include the next 2 weeks.

6. REFERENCE DATE

This field and the next one interact with each other. When a date is entered in this field, the number in Field 7 changes to how many days ago that date is.

The date refers to the date range when the reservations were created. The field defaults to 2 weeks ago to cutoff reservations created earlier than that date. Reservations created after this date will be included in the report. Reservations created before this date will not be included in the report.

For example, if today is February 22 and February 12 is entered in this field, '10' will be entered in the next field since that is 10 days ago.

7. BUILD INTERVAL (DAYS)

This field and the previous one interact with each other. When a number is entered here, the previous field displays the date of how many days ago it was. For example, if today is February 22 and '10' is entered in this field, the previous field will change to February 12.

8. DETAIL/ SUMMARY

To select the report format enter:

D = Detailed Report - shows each class for each location
S
= Summary Report - shows just totals for each location

9. PRINT/ DISPLAY

Enter:

P = Print a hard copy of this report on your terminal's assigned printer or send it as an e-mail message. See the Edit Terminal Record Chapter for instructions on how to assign printers and send reports as e-mails.

D = Display this report on the terminal screen. See the General Data Entry Instructions Chapter on how to control the screen display.
