Damage Waiver Options Report

Use this program to:

Produce a report showing the sales of all damage waiver type options (such as LDW) and any additional dependent coverages (such as DDW and TWW). Only closed and posted RAs are eligible for this report.

To access the program, type DWORPT (RET) at any menu "OPTION:" field or the appropriate number on the Additional Daily Reports Sub-Menu of the Daily Procedures Menu. The screen will then display:

Enter data as follows:

1. LOCATION

For the opening location, enter:

Up to 6 alphanumeric characters to select a single location.
A Group Name representing several locations (see the chapter Edit Group Names for a discussion on location groups). Remember, the first character of a Group Name is the plus sign "+". In addition, for this report, a Location Group will trigger "subtotal roll-ups" (if the group contains groups within groups, subtotals will print for each group level). For more information on this feature, refer to the section on Subtotal Roll-Ups at the end of the Edit Group Names chapter.
"ALL" to include all locations

Press RETURN to accept the default location.

2. START DBR DATE

Using the selected date format, enter the Starting DBR Date. Posted RAs with DBR dates within the date range entered in this field and the next one will be included in the report. Press (RET) to default to the current date.

3. END DBR DATE

Using the selected date format, enter the Ending DBR Date. Posted RAs with DBR dates within the date range entered in this field and the previous one will be included in the report. Press (RET) to default to the current date.

4. INCLUDE GOLD?

Enter:

Y = Yes, include RAs that are based on gold or platinum reservations.

N = No, do not include RAs that are based on gold or platinum reservations.

5. INCLUDE INSURANCE?

Enter:

Y = Yes, include insurance RAs along with non-insurance RAs.

N = No, do not include insurance RAs in the report.

O = Only. Include only insurance RAs.

6. DETAIL/ SUMMARY

Enter:

D = Detailed Report; each RA with a damage waiver charge will be listed separately.

S = Summary Report; totals only (no individual RAs listed)

7. PRINT/
DISPLAY

Enter:

P = Print a hard copy of this report on your terminal's assigned printer or send as an e-mail. See the Edit Terminal Records chapter for instructions on how to assign printers and send reports as e-mails.

D = Display this report on this screen. See the General Data Entry Instructions chapter on how to control the screen display.

Notes about this report:

When run in DETAIL, the following data prints for each RA (grouped by opening location):

RA number
Option Code of the "L" type option sold
Customer's Responsibility from the Option Rates table; Note: if the customer's responsibility was edited on the RA, the edited responsibility amount is not reported.
Number of chargeable days on the RA
Number of chargeable days for the L type option
Revenue for this option
Revenue for the first L type dependent coverage
Revenue for the second L type dependent coverage
Revenue for the third L type dependent coverage
Revenue per day (Total of the 4 revenue columns divided by the number of chargeable days on the RA)

SUMMARY SECTION

For each opening location the following is shown:

·Option Code of the "L" type option sold
·Customer's Responsibility from the Option Rates table
·Number of RAs with this option
·Total chargeable days on the RAs
·Total of chargeable days for the L type option
·Total Revenue for this option
·Number of RAs with the first L type dependent coverage
·Number of RAs with the second L type dependent coverage
·Number of RAs with the third L type dependent coverage
·Total revenue from the 3 L type dependent coverages
·Average revenue per day (Total of the revenue columns divided by the number of chargeable days on the RAs)

After the above totals have printed, the next line labeled "NO-LDW" shows the number of RAs opened without any LDW sold. This includes RAs where LDW was included in the rate or included at no charge due to a corporate privilege code.

Finally, totals for each location are shown.
