Some operations, especially those serving airports, have insufficient space at the actual rental location for the entire fleet. This necessitates having one or more off-site staging lots for cleaning, prepping, and storing vehicles between rentals. Making use of the Vehicle Staging logic helps in tracking the fleet between the time the vehicles are returned and when they are made available for the next rental.

Use this program to monitor the vehicles in the on-site and off-site lots in accordance with the upcoming reservations. It provides a dynamic display of the number of upcoming reservations as well as the number of vehicles by class in each lot. The screen automatically refreshes every 30 seconds.

To access the Lot Controller program, type LOTCTRL (RET) at any menu "OPTION:" field or the appropriate line number on the Dispatch menu. The screen will automatically display the data.

The lots selected for the display is dependent upon how lots have been defined in Edit Lot Relationships:
Starting time is one hour earlier than the current time.
Ending time is one hour after the current time. However, if the one hour causes the date to change, the ending time is 9 am on the new date.
