Regardless of the selection parameters, this report excludes all foreign vehicles and vehicles with Status Code S (Sold).

To access the Vehicle Date Expiration Report, type LICEXP (RET) at any menu "OPTION:" field or the appropriate line number from the Fleet Menu. The screen will then display:

Enter data as follows:

1. START DATE

Using the selected date format, enter the Starting Expiration date. Press RET to default to “EARLIEST”.

EXAMPLE: Type 090108 (RET)

2. END DATE

Using the selected date format, enter the Ending Expiration date. All vehicles or non-vehicle assets with expiration dates within the date range are eligible for the report. Press RET to default to “LATEST”.

EXAMPLE: Type 093008 (RET)

3. OWNING LOCATION

If fleet pools are used and the default location references a fleet pool, this field defaults to the appropriate pool location. Otherwise, this field will show the user's default location.

Enter up to 6 alphanumeric characters to indicate the owning location of the vehicles selected.

Enter:

1. Up to 6 alphanumeric characters to select vehicles owned by a single location.

2. A Group Name representing several locations. (The first character of a Group Name is the plus sign “+”.)

3. Press RETURN to default to ALL locations.

4. FLEET TYPE

If fleet types are used, enter a single character representing a fleet type. Otherwise, press (RET).

EXAMPLE: Type C (RET)

5. LICENSING ENTITY

If license entities are used, enter up to 2 characters representing a municipality that issues vehicle registrations. Otherwise, press (RET).

EXAMPLE: Type CA (RET)

6. INCLUDE ASSETS
This field refers to non-vehicle assets (such as GPS units) that are inventoried. Enter:
Y = Yes, include non-vehicle assets in the report
N = No, do not include non-vehicle assets in the report (include only vehicles)
O = Report only non-vehicle assets

7. SORT/ SELECT

Use this field to select how the vehicles included in the report should be sorted.

Enter:

1 = Vehicles will be selected if their Tab expiration date falls within the requested date range and they will be sorted by this expire date

2 = Vehicles will be selected if their Insurance expiration date falls within the requested date range and they will be sorted by this expire date

3 = Vehicles will be selected if their Maintenance Certificate expiration date falls within the requested date range and they will be sorted by this expire date

4 = Vehicles will be selected if their Tourtist Certificate expiration date falls within the requested date range and they will be sorted by this expire date

5 = Vehicles will be selected if their Tab expiration date falls within the requested date range and they will be sorted by the entity (State) that issued the license (When this sort is selected the VIN # will print on line 2.)

8. PRINT/ DISPLAY

Enter:

P = Print a hard copy of this report on your terminal's assigned printer. See Edit Terminal Records for instructions on how to assign printer.

D = Display this report on your terminal screen. See the General Data Entry Instructions on how to control the screen display.

9. CURRENT LOCATION

ENTER:

  1. "ALL" to include all locations.
  2. Up to 6 alphanumeric characters representing a single location.
  3. A Group Name representing several locations (see the chapter Edit Group Names for a discussion on location groups). Remember, the first character of a Group Name is the plus sign "+".

ENTER:
  1. "I" to include vehicles with no expiration date.
  2. "E" to exclude vehicles with no expiration date. (Default)
  3. "O" to only report vehicles with no expiration date.
