Use this report to produce a list of reservations which have had selected options sold on them.

In some situations, certain options sold on a reservation may need to be prepared and installed in the vehicle in advance of pickup. An example of this is kitchen kits and personal kits for RV rentals. This report allows up to seven options to be selected. The report will then show which reservations had those options sold as well as the quantity of each option. The report also lists the number of passengers from the reservation.

To access the program, type OPTMAN (RET) at any menu "OPTION:" field or the appropriate number on the Additional Reservation Programs Menu, which is a submenu of the Reservations Menu. The screen will then display:

Options List

1. Start Pickup Date

Using your selected date format, enter the starting pickup date of reservations to be reported. The field will default to the current date.

2. End Pickup Date

Using your selected date format, enter the ending pickup date of reservations to be reported. The field will default to the current date.

3. Location

For the reservation's pickup location, enter:

  1. Up to 6 alphanumeric characters to select a single location.
  2. A Group Name representing several locations (see the Chapter Edit Group Names for a discussion on location groups). Remember, the first character of a Group Name is the plus sign "+".
  3. "ALL" to include all locations.

Press RETURN to accept the default location.

4. Sort Order

Use this field to specify how the data will be sorted. Enter:

1 = Reservations will be sorted first by date, then by vehicle class. If multiple locations are being reported, they will be mixed together within the date/class groupings.

2 = Reservations will be sorted first by location, next by date, then by vehicle class.

5. Print/Display

Enter:

P = Print a hard copy of this report on your terminal's assigned printer. See the Edit Terminal Records Chapter for instructions on how to assign printers.

D = Display this report on this screen. See the General Data Entry Instructions Chapter on how to control the screen display.

6. Tour Res's Only

Enter:

Y = The report will be limited to only those reservations for pickup within the selected date and location parameters which have a tour voucher attached.

N = All reservations for pickup within the selected date and location parameters will be reported.

7. Tour Operator

Enter:

  • Up to 6 alphanumeric characters to represent the customer number of the tour company whose reservations should be reported.

  • "ALL" to report reservations for all tour operators.

EXAMPLE: Type HHT (RET)

NOTE: This field is not accessible if field 6 above is set to "N".

Options List

Press Enter to move the cursor through the list of options.

Type "X" to select an option to report. Up to seven options may be selected.

Options will be displayed in alpha/numeric order. Often there will be more options than can be displayed on one page. If this is the case, return the cursor to the "OPTION:" field and press F2 to display the next 39 options.
