This report is used to:

Vehicles currently in status "O" (on rent) and status "S"(sold) are excluded from this report.

To access the program, type INACTIVE(RET) at any menu "OPTION:"field or the appropriate number on the Fleet Menu. The screen will then display:

Enter data as follows:

1. OWNING LOCATION

For the vehicles' owning location, enter:

  1. Up to 6 alphanumeric characters to select a single location.
  2. A Group Name representing several locations (see the chapter Edit Group Names for a discussion on location groups). Remember, the first character of a Group Name is the plus sign "+"
  3. Press (RET) to include "ALL" locations.

2. CURRENT LOCATION

For the vehicles' current location, enter:

  1. Up to 6 alphanumeric characters to select a single location.
  2. A Group Name representing several locations. Remember, the first character of a Group Name is the plus sign "+"
  3. Press (RET) to include "ALL" locations.

3. CLASS

Enter up to 4 alphanumeric characters to limit the report to a single vehicle Class. Or press (RET) to include all Classes.

4. MINIMUM DOWN DAYS

Enter a minimum number of inactive rental days. Vehicles whose elapsed days of rental inactivity that at least the number entered will be included in the report.

5. SORT BY

Select how the data should be sorted:

1 = By owning Location first, then by Vehicle number

2 = By owning Location first, then by License plate number

3 = By current Location first, then by Vehicle number

4 = By current Location first, then by License plate number

5 = By status first, then by License plate number

6 = By Class first, then by License plate number

Enter:

P = Print a hard copy of this report on your terminal's assigned printer. See the chapter Edit Terminal Records for instructions on how to assign printers.

D = Display this report on this screen. See the chapter General Data Entry for instructions on how to control the screen display.

7. INCLUDE NON-VEHICLES?

Enter:

N = Only vehicles will be included in the report.

Y = Both vehicle and non-vehicle records in the vehicle file will be included in the report.

User tip: Non-vehicles are assets such as hand held GPS units, child seats, and other equipment that have been entered into inventory for tracking purposes. Refer to the chapter of the manual titled Apx-Tracking Optional Equipment for more information.

Vehicles that have not yet been rented will appear on this report if the difference between their In-Service date and the current system date meets the minimum number of down days entered in Field 4.
