To access the Edit Currency Info program, type EDITCUR (RET) at any menu "OPTION:" field or the appropriate line number on the Accounting Control Files menu.

Data in each field is as follows:

1. CODE

The numeric ISO currency code assigned to this currency.

2. ABBREVIATION

The alphabetic ISO currency code assigned to this currency. In general, the first 2 characters represent the country followed by one character for the currency itself.

NOTE: Only the first 2 characters of this abbreviation are used when setting up the exchange rate in the Edit Exchange Rate program and in ALL other places in CARS+

3. NAME

The name of the currency.

4. COUNTRY

The country associated with the currency

5. DECIMALS

The number of digits to the right of the decimal point for this currency.

6. CURRENCY SYMBOL
Enter the symbol that should be used for currency when printing a RA. (This can be up to 6 characters.)
