Use this program to produce a report showing the number of Gold rentals and the revenue on those RAs.

To access the program, type GOLDREV (RET) at any menu "OPTION:" field or the appropriate number on the Hertz Reports Menu. The screen will then display:

Enter data as follows:

1. OPEN LOCATION

For the opening location, enter

1. Up to 6 alphanumeric characters to select a single location.

2. A Group Name representing several locations (see the Chapter Edit Group Names for a discussion on location groups). Remember, the first character of a Group Name is the plus sign "+".

3. "ALL" to include all locations

2. START DATE

Using the selected date format, enter the starting date. Note that the dates entered in this field and the next are the opening date or closing date range as defined below in Field 7 "Date Type ".

2. END DATE

Using the selected date format, enter the ending date. Note that the dates entered in this field and the one above are the opening date or closing date range as defined below in Field 7 "Date Type ".

4. OPTION 1

Up to 3 options can be entered in the next fields so that their revenue is shown in a separate column. Note that there is already a column designated for "L" type options (LDW).

Enter up to 5 alphanumeric characters representing an Option Code. The revenue for this option will be shown in a separate column.

5. OPTION 2

Enter up to 5 alphanumeric characters representing a second Option Code. The revenue for this option will be shown in a separate column.

6. OPTION 3

Enter up to 5 alphanumeric characters representing a third Option Code. The revenue for this option will be shown in a separate column.

7. DATE TYPE

This field designates if the date range entered in Fields 2 and 3 represents the opening date or the closing date. Enter:

1 = The date range refers to the opening date of the RAs

2 = The date range refers to the closing date of the RAs (for RAs currently open, the return date is used)

EXAMPLE: Press (RET)

8. DETAIL/ SUMMARY

Select the report format. Enter:

D = Detailed Report (lists each RA and each location is subtotaled.

S = Summary Report (location totals only)

10. PRINT/
DISPLAY

Enter:

P = Print a hard copy of this report on your terminal's assigned printer or send it as an e-mail. See the Edit Terminal Records Chapter for instructions on how to assign printers and send reports as e-mails.

D = Display this report on this screen. See the General Data Entry Instructions Chapter on how to control the screen display.

F = Create a CSV file. Contact Thermeon's Customer Support Dept. for more information.

FPO Amount (prepaid fuel sales)
Revenue from Option 1 (entered in Field 4)
Revenue from Option 2 (entered in Field 5)
Revenue from Option 3 (entered in Field 6)
Other Amount (all other charges on the RA lumped together) *
* If the report is run to a csv file, a column is provided for each charge rather than combining the 'Other' charges into one column.
