Use this program to produce a list and summary of all reservations that are booked through a particular location.

Reservations are sorted on the report by pickup location and then sub-sorted by class. Data shown on the report includes the pickup location, reservation number, pickup date, return date, customer name, vehicle class, and res. status. After each break in the sort, a subtotal line shown the total reservations for that section, the number filled, no-showed, cancelled, and open.

To access the National Res Distribution Report program, type RESLST (RET) at any menu "OPTION:" field or the appropriate number on the Reservations Menu. The screen will then display:

Enter data as follows:

1. RES CREATE LOCATION

When a reservation is created, the default location for the user who created the reservation is logged. This field refers to that location. Enter

  1. Up to 6 alphanumeric characters to select a single location.
  2. A Group Name representing several locations (see the Chapter Edit Group Names for a discussion on location groups). Remember, the first character of a Group Name is the plus sign "+".

Press RETURN to default to ALL locations.

2. RES PICKUP LOCATION

For the pickup location, enter

  1. Up to 6 alphanumeric characters to select a single location.
  2. A Group Name representing several locations (see the Chapter Edit Group Names for a discussion on location groups). Remember, the first character of a Group Name is the plus sign "+".

Press RETURN to default to ALL locations.

3. STARTING PICKUP DATE

Using your selected date format, enter the starting pickup date. Press RET to default to today's date.

4. ENDING PICKUP DATE

Using your selected date format, enter the ending pickup date. Press RET to default to today's date.

5. STARTING CREATE DATE

Using your selected date format, enter the starting create date. Press RET to default to today's date.

6. ENDING CREATE DATE

Using your selected date format, enter the ending create date. Press RET to default to today's date.

7. DETAIL/ SUMMARY

Enter 1 alpha character to select the report format.

D = Detailed Report; each reservation is listed.

S = Summary Report; only subtotals for each section are listed.

Enter:

P = Print a hard copy of this report on your terminal's assigned printer. See the Edit Terminal Records Chapter for instructions on how to assign printers.

D = Display this report on this screen. See the General Data Entry Instructions Chapter on how to control the screen display.

9. INCLUDE TURNDOWNS

Indicate whether or not turndowns should be included in the report. (A column for Turndowns is included in the summary section where records are sorted by Location and Class.)

Y = Yes, turndowns should be included in the report.

N = No, don't include turndown data.

10. STARTING EMPLOYEE

To limit the report to those reservations created by a particular employee or range of employees, enter up to 6 alphanumeric characters representing the employee code. Press (RET) to begin with the FIRST employee.

To limit the report to those reservations created by a particular employee or range of employees, enter up to 6 alphanumeric characters representing the employee code. Press (RET) to end with the LAST employee.
