Use this program to produce a listing of vehicles that currently have "open" Hold Codes applied to them and which are currently on open RAs or Non-Revenue Tickets. This report is especially useful for dealing with Hold Codes related to a safety-recall.

This report will list the top 6 Hold Codes applied to each vehicle included in the report. The Hold Codes are listed in priority order starting with the Hold Code with the most important priority value.

To access the program, type CALLHOLD (RET) at any menu "OPTION:" field or the appropriate number on the Hold Code Sub-Menu (History/Maintenance Menu). The screen will then display:

Enter data as follows:


1. OWNING LOCATION

Enter

  1. Up to 6 alphanumeric characters to select a single owning location.
  2. A Group Name representing several locations (see the Chapter Edit Group Names for a discussion on location groups). Remember, the first character of a Group Name is the plus sign "+".
  3. "ALL" to include all locations

Press RETURN to accept the default location.

EXAMPLE: Type TUS (RET)

2. CURRENT LOCATION

Enter

  1. Up to 6 alphanumeric characters to select a single current location.
  2. A Group Name representing several locations (see the Chapter Edit Group Names for a discussion on location groups). Remember, the first character of a Group Name is the plus sign "+".

Press RETURN to accept the default location.

3. START DATE

Using your selected date format, enter the Starting Date. Press RET to default to “EARLIEST”.

EXAMPLE: Type 030105 (RET)

4. END DATE

Using your selected date format, enter the Ending Date. Press RET to default to “LATEST”.

5. HOLD TYPE

Enter:

H = Hard Hold

W = Warning

G = Grounding

R = Registration

M = Maintenance

D = Damage

ALL = All Hold types

EXAMPLE: Type G (RET).

6. HOLD CODE

Leave this field blank if all Hold Codes within the Hold Type selected in Field 5 should be included. Otherwise, up to 5 individual Hold Codes can be entered in this field. Enter the Hold Codes one after the other without spaces or punctuation.

7. SORT ORDER

Enter 1 alpha character to select the sort order for the data reported.

1 = Vehicle Numbert

2 = Current Locationt

3 = Hold Code Numbert

4 = Hertz Vehicle Acquisition Code

Enter:

P = Print a hard copy of this report on your terminal's assigned printer. See the Edit Terminal Records Chapter for instructions on how to assign printers.
