Location Groups can be "members" of larger Location Groups. This relationship is critical for such things as the metroplex logic within the Fleet Planning Calendar and the "roll-up" subtotals within many CARS+ reports. But "seeing" if these relationships are set up correctly is difficult to do on-line. This program lists the groups within groups and the locations within each group thus presenting these relationships on paper so that they can be audited for correctness.

To access the Location Group Codes Report, type GROUPRPT (RET) at any menu "OPTION:" field or the appropriate line number on the Print Location Control Files Menu. The screen will then display:

Enter data as follows:

1. GROUP CODE
Enter the group code or press (RET) for "ALL" groups.

2. GROUP TYPE
This field can limit the report to a single group type. Enter:

O = Option group. This type of Location Group Code is used for option rates and/or for a percentage matrix.

T = For Hertz operations only. Gold reservations can be searched and selected if the pickup location and the user's default location are members of the same "T" group.

M = Metroplex group. Used only by WebPlan to identify which locations groups to chose from. Location Groups used as Metroplexes within Edit Locations do NOT need to be a Type "M" if Webplan is not used.

P = Posting group. Used by the autopost program.

W = For WebXML Webres

3. PRINT/ DISPLAY

Enter:

P = Print a hard copy of this report on your terminal's assigned printer or send as an e-mail. See the Edit Terminal Records Chapter for instructions on how to assign printers and send reports as e-mails.

D = Display this report on your terminal screen. See the General Data Entry Instructions Chapter on how to control the screen display.
