In a manner similar to the Source Analysis Report, the Market Analysis Report (also called the Quote Analysis Report), is intended to show the performance of quotations by source of business.

In order for this report to be meaningful, whenever an entry on the Reservation screen is saved as a quotation, a Source Code must be entered. When this is done accurately, this report can become a tool in analyzing the quotations from various sources.

The Market Analysis Report shows statistical information about quotations by source code. For each source code, the report has three major groups of information. They are as follows:

  1. QUOTES. This first group shows the number of quotes saved from each source and the number and percentage that were converted to reservations. It also shows the percent of quotes converted to reservations for this source code vs. the total of all quotes converted to reservations for all source codes.
  2. RESERVATIONS & RAs. The second group of columns shows the number and percentage of quotations that not only became reservations, but also became RAs.
  3. TRANSACTION TOTALS. The third group of columns includes the number and percentage of no-shows and cancellations by source and then calculates a net number and percentage of transactions from each source.

To access the Market Analysis Report, type QUOANA (RET) at any menu "OPTION:" field or the appropriate line number on the Reservation menu. The screen will then display:
