Since lease RAs may run for several months or years, it is possible that the country's rate of inflation may increase significantly during the life of the lease. The inflation logic provides a way for the lease RA rates to increase with inflation during the cloning process.

Use this program to define codes for various inflation indexes. Use the program Edit Inflation Rates to actually set the inflation rate percentages of the codes defined here.

To access the Edit Inflation Codes program, type INFLCD (RET) at any menu "OPTION:" field or the appropriate line number on the Leasing menu. The screen will then display:

Enter data as follows:

1. INFLATION CODE

Enter up to 6 characters for a code to represent on Inflation Index.

EXAMPLE: Type TIRES (RET).

2. DESCRIPTION

Enter up to 30 characters to describe the index.

EXAMPLE: Type INFLATION INDEX FOR TIRES (RET).

PRESS "F1" AT "OPTION" TO SAVE.
