Enter Refueling Data

Use this program to:

Enter data on fueling vehicles used in chauffeur rentals where fuel is included in the rental. Used to track fuel usage by vehicle.
Records can be entered, edited, and deleted.

User tip: The Refueling Report reports on the data entered through this program.

To access the Enter Refueling Data program, type REFUEL (RET) at any menu "OPTION:" field or the appropriate line number on the History/Maintenance Menu. The screen will then display:

Enter data as follows:

1. VEHICLE	Enter up to 6 alphanumeric characters representing the unit number of the vehicle that was fueled. EXAMPLE: Type M0509 (RET)
2. DATE	Using your selected date format, enter the date of the refueling. Press RET to default to today's date. EXAMPLE: Type 122007 (RET)
3. TIME	Using your selected time format, enter the time of the refueling. Press RET to default to the current time. EXAMPLE: Type 0818 (RET)
4. LOCATION	Enter up to 6 alphanumeric characters to indicate the vehicle's location. EXAMPLE: Type TUS (RET)
5. QUANTITY	Enter the amount of fuel that was pumped into the vehicle. This field will accept 4 numeric characters before the decimal point and 1 after it. EXAMPLE: Type 12.5 (RET)
6. COST	Enter the cost of the fuel. EXAMPLE: Type 36.00 (RET)
7. VEHICLE ODOMETER	Enter the odometer reading at the time the vehicle was fueled. EXAMPLE: Type 5612 (RET)
8. VENDOR	Enter up to 8 alphanumeric characters representing the Vendor number of the station where the vehicle was refueled. EXAMPLE: Type FN0023 (RET)
9. EMPLOYEE	Enter up to 6 alphanumeric characters representing the employee code of the person who fueled the vehicle. EXAMPLE: Type JEG (RET)
10. VOUCHER	Enter up to 18 alphanumeric characters for a voucher number. A field on the Refueling Report for voucher number references the data entered in this field and can be used to find the transaction(s) with this voucher number. EXAMPLE: Type BA3492750210201220 (RET)
11. NOTE	Enter up to 40 alphanumeric characters for a note. Data entered in this field is included in the Refueling Report. EXAMPLE: Press (RET)
