Some operations have independent businesses (often service stations) that act as agency locations. These agency locations rent the operation's vehicles and are paid a percentage of the rental revenue.

Use this program to create records for the agency commission percentages. The percentages may be different for Time than it is for LDW or other options. Each option that has commission paid on it must have a record in this file.

To access the Agency Commission Control program, type EDITAGC (RET) at any menu "OPTION:" field or the appropriate line number on the Location Control Files Menu. The screen will then display:

Enter data as follows:

1. AGENCY LOCATION

Enter up to 6 alphanumeric characters representing the location code.

User tip: The agency location must have a record in the Location file and be defined as an "agency" location (Page 2, Field 1 Owned Location = A.)

2. OPTION CODE

Enter up to 5 alphanumeric characters representing an Option Code for a revenue item that is commissionable.

EXAMPLE: Type TIME (RET)

3. CLASS

4. DAYS

5. EFFECTIVE DATE

Enter the effective date for the commission percent.

EXAMPLE: TYPE 010110 (RET)

6. COMMISSION %

Enter the commission percentage for the option.

EXAMPLE: Type 20 (RET).

7. COMMISSION AMOUNT


PRESS "F1" AT "OPTION" TO SAVE THE RECORD.

Enter a record for each option that is commissionable for the agency. For example, TIME may be paid at 20%, LDW at 15%, ADDITIONAL DRIVER AT 17%.

Commissions are calculated and reported on the Agency Commission Report.
