A secondary Option field is available in the Model Code and Vehicle Inventory File for Sirius Radio:

IV. COUNTER AGENT INSTRUCTIONS
The following notes refer to how a Neverlost or Sirius charge is added to transactions.
A. RESERVATIONS
For Hertz Canada corporate locations, Neverlost and Sirius requests can be made only through the Reservation Center. If you attempt to add these options to a locally booked reservation, the following message will appear:
PRESTIGE AND NEVERLOST MUST BE BOOKED THROUGH THE RES CENTER
B. RESERVATION MANIFEST
For Hertz Canada Corporate operations, a field on the Manifest "Neverlost Only" can be used to limit the report to only those reservations indicating Neverlost and/or Sirius Radio.
C. RA OPEN
The appropriate charge for the option will be made under the following circumstances:
1. If the Model Code record for the vehicle indicates a mandatory charge, the option will always be applied to rentals originating from reservations as well as walk up rentals.
2. When an upsell is made from a non-NVL or Sirius reservation to a NVL or Sirius vehicle.
The option charge will NOT be added to a RA when:
1. A forced upgrade is made from a non-NVL/Sirius reservation to a NVL/Sirius equipped vehicle.
2. The reserved class and the rental class are both prestige class vehicles. (Prestige class vehicles include Neverlost and Sirius at no extra charge and Hertz Canada Corporate operations assign them Pricing Code "P".)
Locations can be configured to block a specially equipped vehicle from being rented one-way to a location outside of the Opening location's Drop Zone. This is done by setting up GVT record "NVLOPEN" for the opening location. In addition, on reservations received from the reservation center, edits to the return location are blocked on NVL vehicles
Some locations can be blocked from renting an NVL vehicles. This is done by setting up the GVT record "NVLCLOSE" for the opening location. If the user attempts to rent a NVL vehicle from the designated location, the following message will display:
VEHICLES WITH NEVERLOST CANNOT BE RENTED AT THIS LOCATION.
D. RA CLOSE
Your system can be configured to limit the users who can close one way NVL rentals originating at locations belonging to a different Drop Zone. If the GVT record "NVLCLOSE" exists for the closing location, only users with unrestricted access to Edit Close RA (as designated in the Edit User Access File) are allowed to close these RAs. Otherwise, the following message will display:
THIS ONE-WAY NEVERLOST RA REQUIRES A MANAGER TO CLOSE
Users who have unrestricted access to Edit Closed RA are allowed to close these one-way NVL contracts, and the following message will display:
RETURN THIS NEVERLOST CAR BACK TO THE AIRPORT
IV. REPORTS
The reports listed below have a field which allows you to limit the report to Neverlost and/or Sirius charge vehicles only:
Vehicles Due In Report
Questionable RA Report
Vehicle Status Report
The Neverlost Reservation Broken Report (for Hertz Canada) is one devoted to NVL/Sirius reservations. The report shows whether or not customers requesting a vehicle with special equipment received vehicles so equipped. The report also indicates whether or not they were charged for the equipment option.
