Non-vehicle assets such as GPS units and child seats can be linked to vehicles when they are prepped.

Use this program to:

To access the Asset Linking Report, type LINKRPT (RET) at any menu "OPTION:"field or the appropriate line number on the Dispatch Menu. The screen will then display:

Enter data as follows:

1. VEHICLE #

Enter up to 6 alphanumeric characters representing a single vehicle, or press (RET) to include all vehicles.

EXAMPLE: Press (RET)

2. CLASS

To limit the report to a single class of vehicle, enter up to 4 characters representing the Class Code. Press (RET) to include all classes.

3. CURRENT LOCATION

For the item's current location, enter:

  1. Up to 6 alphanumeric characters to select vehicles currently at a single location either foreign or owned.
  2. A Group Name representing several locations (see the Chapter Edit Group Names for a discussion on location groups).
  3. Press RETURN to default to ALL locations

EXAMPLE: Type TUS (RET).

4. STARTING DATE

The date range in field and the next one refers to the date that the link was entered.

Using the selected date format, enter the starting date. Press RET to default to the current day.

5.END DATE

Using the selected date format, enter the ending date. Press RET to default to the current day.

6. EMPLOYEE

Enter up to 6 alphanumeric characters representing an employee code to select a links made by that single employee. Press RET to default to all employees.

EXAMPLE: Type MIKE (RET).

7. PRINT/ DISPLAY

Enter:

P = Print a hard copy of this report on the terminal's assigned printer. See the Edit Terminal Records Chapter for instructions on how to assign printers and send reports as e-mails.

D = Display this report on the terminal screen. When displayed, the summary grid remains on the screen and is updated automatically using the same refresh frequency used by the On-line Reservation Display program.
