This report is designed to identify missing RA numbers in the number sequence.

There are multiple places in CARS+ where a series of RA numbers can be set up. The programs, in order of hierarchy are:

A. Edit Cash Drawers: Individual cash drawers can have a unique range of RA numbers. This takes precedence over any range set up in another program.

B. Edit Locations: Two number ranges can be assigned to a Location:

1. One for Retail RAs (page 1 of Edit Locations)

2. One for Insurance Replacement RAs (page 3 of Edit Locations)

C. Edit Miscellaneous Control Fields: Allows a system wide range of RA numbers. Under this method unique numbers are not assigned to locations. Instead, all locations draw from the same number range.

This program looks at all of these number ranges and creates a file of possible prefixes for RA numbers. If a RA number does not begin with one of the possible prefixes, it is listed.

When a RA number is missing, the number before and after the missing RA are listed followed by a blank line to make it easy to spot.

To access the Missing RAs Report, type MRARPT (RET) at any menu "OPTION:" field or the appropriate line number on the Daily Audit Reports Submenu of the Daily Procedures Menu. The screen will then display:
