The Customer Rental Summary Report is used to:

To access the Customer Rental Summary Report program, type CUSRNT (RET) at any menu "OPTION:" field or the appropriate line number on the Customer Maintenance Menu. The screen will then display:

Enter data as follows:

1. CUST NUMBER

Enter up to 6 alphanumeric characters to indicate a particular customer number, or press Shift/F7 to access a search of the customer file.

EXAMPLE: Type 122020 (RET).

2. START DATE

Using your selected date format, enter the Starting Date of the report. Press RET to default to the EARLIEST date.

EXAMPLE: Type 010108 (RET)

3. END DATE

Using your selected date format, enter the Ending date for this report. Press RET to default to the current date.

RAs whose closing DBR date falls within the rate entered in Fields 2 and 3 will be selected for the report.

EXAMPLE: Type 033108

4. PRINT/ DISPLAY

Enter:

P = Print a hard copy of this report on your terminal's assigned printer or send as an e-mail. See the Edit Terminal Records chapter for instructions on how to assign printers and send reports as e-mails.

D = Display this report on your terminal screen. See the General Data Entry Instructions chapter on how to control the screen display.

5. REPORT MODE
Enter:
1 = Normal Mode. This mode produces a one-line summary of each RA

2 = Expanded Mode. In this mode a second line of information is shown for each RA. The additional data is:
P.O. Number, Vehicle Class, Local Contact and RA Note.

Additionally, the report is expanded to include another section that lists open RAs that have a return date within the date range requested.

Other charges (all charges other than time, miles (km), fuel, and drop)

** This report contains a calculation of rental length called "DBR Days" (or just "Days"). One of two possible formulas are used in CARS+ to calculate this figure.
