For Hertz operations outside of North America not doing EDRB or GAR feed to OKC, Hertz provides an Excel template for those operations to report closed rental transactions. The resulting record layout is referred to by OKC is the "Radius" file.

This program is used to create a csv file of data from CARS+ which can be imported into Excel, thus shortening the task of providing the Excel spreadsheet to OKC. Data from the following types of RAs is included:
RAs generated from filled reservations from OKC (the reservation has a Hertz Res ID#).
All walk-up and local reservation RAs with a Frequent Flyer code (and the code is NOT defined as not to be sent to OKC)
All walk-up and local reservation RAs with a Hertz No. 1 Club number.
All walk-up and local reservation RAs with a CDPID number (not a local CDPID).

Prior to submitting the Excel file to OKC, be sure to delete the column(s) that don't meet the OKC Excel template format required for your operation.

Locations not operating their system in USD currency:
There must be a record in Edit Exchange Rates with an effective date that is in effect for the data being transmitted. The Exchange record must have "USD" in Field 1 (From Curr Code) and the currency code from the Location File (as entered on Page 3, field 3) in Field 2 (To Curr Code). An example is shown below.

OPTION: EDIT EXCHANGE RATES

1 From Curr Code USD
2 To Curr Code ARS
3 Posting Company
4 Net Vchr Code
5 Effective Date 03-22-14
6 Effective Time 0600
7 Divide by Rate .202839
8 Multiply by Rate 2.000000

1BEGIN 2NEXT 3ERASE 4PREVIOUS 5BACKUP 6 7HELP 8

This program searches the Exchange Rate file for an effective record as described above. If a valid exchange record is not found, the amounts will not be converted to USD.
