The Bin Range Report is used to produce a list of the number ranges for credit cards, debit cards and prepaid/gift cards that are found in the Edit Bin Range Records. The effective date and expiration dates are shown on the report.

To access the Report, type PRBRNG (RET) at any menu "OPTION:" field or the appropriate line number on the Print out Rental CTRL Rec which is on the Rental Control Files Menu.

The screen will then display:

Enter data as follows:

1. START RANGE#

Enter the lowest card number for the card brand indicated in field 3, or press RET to default to the first record on file.

EXAMPLE: Press (RET)

2. END RANGE #

Enter up to 20 numbers to indicate the ending card number for the card brand indicated in field 3, or press RET to default to the last record on file.

EXAMPLE: Press (RET)

3. CARD BRAND

Enter up to 3 alphanumeric characters to select a single credit card brand or press RET to default to All Credit Card types.

7. PRINT/ DISPLAY

Enter 1 alphabetical character to select whether to print a hard copy on a printer, send it a e-mail, or display the report on the terminal screen.

P = Print a hard copy of this report on your terminal's assigned printer or send as an e-mail. See the Edit Terminal Records chapter for instructions on how to assign printers and send e-mails.

D = Display this report on your terminal screen. See the General Data Entry Instructions Chapter on how to control the screen display.
