The Overdue Summary Report lists the number of overdue contracts that exist for each opening location. To see a detailed list of all overdue vehicles, run the Vehicles Due In Report.

To access the Overdue Summary Report program, type OVERDUE (RET) at any menu "OPTION:" field or the appropriate line number on the Additional Daily Reports Sub-Menu of the Daily Procedures Menu. The screen will display:

Enter data as follows:

1. OPEN LOCATION

Enter one of the following:

1. Up to 6 alphanumeric characters to indicate a single RA Opening Location.

2. A Group Name representing several locations (see the Chapter, "Edit Group Names" for a discussion on location groups). Remember, the first character of a Group Name is the plus sign "+".

3. Press RETURN to default to ALL locations.

Note: Your user access may be limited as to the locations for which you can run this report. If your access is restricted and you attempt to enter a location or location group which is outside your allowed parameters, the following message will be displayed at the bottom of the screen and your selection will be ignored:

2. OVERDUE DAYS

Enter the number of days late to be reported. All vehicles that are at least this number of days late will be reported in a separate column.

Press RETURN to default to 5 days.

EXAMPLE: Type 3 (RET)

3. SORT

Enter:

L = To report the number of overdue vehicles by opening location.

T = To report the number of overdue vehicles by RA Type within each location.

EXAMPLE: Type L (RET)

4. PRINT/ DISPLAY

P = Print a hard copy of this report on your terminal's assigned printer. See the Edit Terminal Records Chapter for instructions on how to assign printers.

D = Display this report on your terminal screen. See the General Data Entry Instructions Chapter on how to control the screen display.

READING THE REPORT

The following are the definitions of the columns which appear on the report:

Location = Opening Location.

RA Type Code = The Type Code assigned to the RA.

0 to nn days = Where nn is the number of days entered into Field 2. This is the number of contracts which are over due but the overdue period has not exceeded the number of days entered into Field 2. Note: contracts which are just one minute overdue as of the moment this report is run will be included in this column.

Over nn days = This is the number of overdue contracts whose overdue period has exceeded the number entered into Field 2..
