Thermeon customers who use the RealWorld General Ledger package are able to take advantage of a feature that allows them to copy the accounts from one profit center and create the same accounts with a new profit center number. For those customers not using RealWorld General Ledger, this program, Profit Center Conversion, has been created to allow the same thing.
To access the Profit Center Conversion program, type PRFCONV (RET) at any menu "OPTION:" field or the appropriate line number on the Accounting Control Files menu. The screen will then display:

Enter data as follows:

1. EXISTING PROFIT CENTER |
Enter up to 3 numeric characters representing the existing profit center. All accounts that currently exist will be cloned with the new profit center number entered in Field 2. EXAMPLE: Type 100 (RET) |

2. NEW PROFIT CENTER |
Enter up to 3 numeric characters representing the new profit center number you wish to use to create new accounts. EXAMPLE: Type 150 (RET). |

The screen will then display:
