Use this program to: To access the NPS File Output Report program, type NPSRP2 (RET) at any menu "OPTION:" field or the appropriate line number on the Import/Export Data sub-menu of the System Management menu. The screen will display as follows:

Enter data as follows:

1. START DATE

This field and the next one define the close DBR dates for the RA data for the report. Press (RET) to default to the current date or enter a starting date.

2. END DATE

This field and the previous one define the close DBR dates for the RA data for the report. Press (RET) to default to the current date or enter a ending date.

EXAMPLE: Press (RET)

3. LOCATION

Enter up to 6 alphanumeric characters to indicate the closing location. Enter:

  1. Up to 6 alphanumeric characters for a single location.
  2. A Group Name representing several locations (see the Chapter Edit Group Names for a discussion on location groups).
  3. ALL for all locations.

The program reads all RAs that closed at the location(s) specified on the DBR date(s) requested. If the RA's customer record has the "Opt Out" field set to "Y", the RA is skipped.

For each RA included, the following data is written to a text file that is pipe ( | ) delimited.
RA number (with the check digit if run in Hertz mode)
The 7-digit Location number from the Location record of the renting location
The 7-digit Location number from the Location record of the closing location
The RA open date in the format: mmddyy
The RA open time in the format: hh.mm
The RA close date in the format: mmddyy
The RA close time in the format: hh.mm
Email address of the RA customer
The model code of the vehicle on the RA
The make of the vehicle on the RA
The model code description of the vehicle on the RA
The class of the vehicle on the RA
Odometer reading at Open
Odometer reading at Close
Privacy Flag from the renter's customer record
19 columns for options sold (Automatically applied options are not included.)

The naming convention of the file is:
hertz_rac_EU_FF_invite_data_yyyy-MM-dd_HH-mm-ss.csv

The file is written to a sub-directory off the base directory NPS.
