The length of time (in minutes) that RAs have been in “Wait” status (RAs currently waiting).
The number of “lost” RAs (RAs that were in Wait status and were voided)
Data concerning Wait RAs that were later opened.
To review, “WAIT” status RAs are created when all required fields have been completed except for the Vehicle number. The vehicle number is left blank because the customer is “waiting” for a vehicle of the desired class to become available. To change the RA from Wait status to Open, the RA is brought up on the RA Open screen, the vehicle is assigned, and the RA is re-saved.
To access the
Rental Wait Report program, type WAITRPT (RET) at any menu "OPTION:" field or the appropriate number on the Additional Daily Reports Sub-Menu of the Daily Procedures Menu. The screen will then display:

Wait duration, calculated as follows:For RAs currently in Wait status, the number of minutes they have been in Wait status.The phrase “STILL WAITING” prints in the right hand column.
For RAs that are in Void status, the number of minutes they were in Wait status.
If the RA was never opened, this is the number of minutes difference between when it went into Wait Status and the DBR Date on the RA.(Remember, when a RA is voided, the date/time it was voided becomes its DBR date.) The phrase “LOST RENTAL” prints in the right hand column.
If the RA was opened and the later voided, the number of minutes it was in Wait status.
For all other RAs, the number of minutes they were in Wait status.
With each chamge of the sort, a subtotal is calculated showing the number of transactions and the average wait time (in minutes).
