Use the Edit Salesman Record program to assign a code to an employee who is responsible for developing business for your operation. This business may be corporate rental customers or travel agencies.

For corporate rental business, a Salesman Code can be assigned to the Corporate Account Record.

For travel agencies, create at least one CDPID number for each salesman. To associate the salesman with the travel agency, assign the salesman's CDPID number to the vendor record of the travel agency.

To access the Edit Salesman program, type SALESMAN (RET) at any menu "OPTION:" field or the appropriate line number on the Sales Control Files Menu. The screen will then display:

Enter data as follows:

1. SALESMAN CODE	Enter up to 6 alphanumeric characters to define a code for a salesperson. EXAMPLE: Type MLM (RET)
2. EMPLOYEE CODE	Enter up to 6 alphanumeric characters that represents the existing CARS+ Employee Code for the salesperson represented in Field #1. EXAMPLE: Type MM4717 (RET)
3. SALES TERRITORY	Enter up to 6 alphanumeric characters to define the sales territory for the salesperson represented in Field #1. EXAMPLE: Type ORANGE (RET)

A typical screen will then display:
