To access the Assign Local Corporate Rates program, type EDLCON (RET) at any menu "OPTION:" field or the appropriate line number on the Customer Maintenance menu. The screen will then display:

1. CDPID NUMBER |
Enter up to 9 numeric characters representing the local corporate ID number for the account. Or, press "F2" to scroll through the records in the file one at a time. EXAMPLE: Type 927927 (RET). Note: If less than 9 characters are entered, leading zeros will fill in automatically after pressing (RET). Thus, the above number will be changed to: 000927927. |

2. START DATE |
Using your selected date format, enter the starting date for this record. An individual CDPID number may have multiple records in this file - each with a new start date. A new start date would indicate a change in one of the parameters of the fields below or on page 2. EXAMPLE: Type 101004 (RET). |

ACCOUNT NAME |
This field displays the account name of the CDP account number entered in Field 1. The cursor does not access this field. It is display only. |

3. RATE CODE |
Enter up to 5 alphanumeric characters that represent an existing CARS+ Rate Code that you want to link to the local CDP number entered in Field #1. When the CDPID number in Field 1 is used on a transaction, this is one of the rates that may be applied to the transaction. EXAMPLE: Type: CORPA (RET) |

4. PRIVILEGE CODES |
Enter up to 40 alphanumeric characters that represent the Privilege Codes that modify rate rules records. These two character codes can allow a special refueling rate, a special LDW rate, a special minimum age, etc. These codes must have already been created in the Edit Privileged RT Codes File. Enter the codes one after another without spaces or punctuation in between the codes. EXAMPLE: Type 1A5V2F4D (RET) |

5. FREE KM/ DAY -T1 |
Enter the number of free km/miles per day that should be applied to rentals using the CDPID number entered in Field 1. This amount of km will be overlaid over the free km allotted in the Rate Rules record for the rate specified in Field 3. For example, if the rate in Field 3 normally has 100 free km per day, entering "200" in this field will cause 200 free km per day to be applied to a reservation or RA where this CDPID/Rate is used. For rates that use the Tier structure, this field coincides with Tier 1. EXAMPLE: Type 200 (RET) |

6. FREE KM/ WEEK - T2 |
Enter the number of free km/miles per week that should be applied to rentals using the CDPID number entered in Field 1. This amount of km will be overlaid over the free km allotted in the Rate Rules record for the rate specified in Field 3. For example, if the rate in Field 3 normally has 700 free km per week, entering "1000" in this field will cause 1000 free km per week to be applied to a reservation or RA where this CDPID/Rate is used. For rates that use the Tier structure, this field coincides with Tier 2. EXAMPLE: Type 1000 (RET) |

7. FREE KM/ MONTH - T3 |
Enter the number of free km/miles per month that should be applied to rentals using the CDPID number entered in Field 1. This amount of km will be overlaid over the free km allotted in the Rate Rules record for the rate specified in Field 3. For example, if the rate in Field 3 normally has 2800 free km per month, entering "3500" in this field will cause 3500 free km per month to be applied to a reservation or RA where this CDPID/Rate is used. For rates that use the Tier structure, this field coincides with Tier 3. EXAMPLE: Type 3500 (RET) |

8. FREE KM/ XDAY - T4 |
Enter the number of free km (or miles) per extra day (days beyond a weekly charge) that should be applied to rentals using the CDPID number entered in Field 1. This amount of km will be overlaid over the free km allotted in the Rate Rules record for the rate specified in Field 3. For example, if the rate in Field 3 normally has 100 free km per extra day, entering "150" in this field will cause 150 free km per extra day to be applied to a reservation or RA where this CDPID/Rate is used. For rates that use the Tier structure, this field coincides with Tier 4. EXAMPLE: Type 150 (RET) |

9. UNLIMITED KM |
If unlimited free km/miles are allowed, enter "Y" in this field. Note: This field supercedes the other free km/miles fields on the screen (Fields 5 -8 ). EXAMPLE: Press (RET) |

Note: These discounts will NOT appear in the "discount" field within the reservation or RA. Instead, the discount will be applied to the rate and the resulting discounted price will be stored with the transaction.
