E-mail the file:When the file is e-mailed, it will be an attachment to the e-mail message from “CARS+ Report Driver”.Clicking on the attachment will cause it to open in a spreadsheet program such as Excel. The same columns (as noted above) are used.Within Excel, the data can be sorted by Employee Code or whatever other choice is preferred.
A Word of Caution:When users do not log out of their sessions and other users know their secret, the data shown on this log may be a misrepresentation of what actually occurred.Let’s use an example to illustrate how this can happen.
John works the day shift. He does not “END” his session when he leaves for the day.
Mary works the evening shift and knows John’s shadow secret. She shadows his session during her shift.
In this case, the Log records will be under John’s user code and it will appear as if he were logging in after hours.
Thermeon’s Support Dept. has an additional tool available for analyzing usage of the system. This tool is a report that is generated by the operating system and shows when someone logged in, how long they were logged in, and from what IP address they logged in.Presently, this report is available only to Thermeon’s Support Dept.If you believe that an employee is abusing their access to your system, you may contact Thermeon’s Support Dept. to request this additional data.
