Use this program to:

Sixt of Germany, uses two separate codes in their transmitted reservations, Rate Code and Rate Plan to convey the information that is stored in the CARS+ Rate Product record. This program is used to map a Sixt Rate Code/Plan Code to a corresponding CARS+ Rate Product. Frankly, this mapping is only required on those Sixt Rate Codes that include items other than Time and Kilometer charges. If a rate has included within it other chargeable options, map the Sixt Rate Code to a CARS+ Rate Product which has the correct inclusive Option Set.

To access the Edit Sixt Rate Plans program, type SIXTRATE (RET) at any menu "OPTION:" field or the appropriate line number on the Sixt Programs menu. The screen will then display:

Enter data as follows:


1. RATE CODE
 Enter an eight character Sixt Rate Code.

EXAMPLE: Type MX7LL000 (RET)
2. RATE PLAN
 Enter a two character numeric Sixt Rate Plan Code.

EXAMPLE: Type 01 (RET)
3. CARS+ RATE PRODUCT
 Enter the corresponding CARS+ Rate Product Code. For now, this Product Code can be no longer than eight characters in length.

EXAMPLE: Type OWS (RET)
4. SOURCE CODE
 Enter a Source Code that should be used when reservations are received with this Sixt Rate Code. If this field is blank, the middle 3 characters of the rate code are used as the Source Code.

EXAMPLE: Type PPCC (RET)

User tip: A Source Code can also be placed on a CDPID record. If the reservation has a CDPID with a Source Code, it take precendence over the one entered in this field.
