All vehicle records may be viewed through this program.
Edits are controlled by Field 5, page 2 (Lic. Flt. Lease Flag) of the Vehicle Record. Vehicle records with a code of "C" in that field cannot be edited (see the "User Tip" below.). Vehicle records where that field is blank may be edited through this program.
User tip: For vehicle records with code "C" in the Lic. Fleet Lease Flag Field, your system can be configured to allow edits to the Grounding Date, Grounding Odometer, and Tag Expiration fields while in restricted mode. To have your system configured in this manner, contact Thermeon's Customer Support Dept. and request that GVT record "EXPVEHED" be set up on your system.
To access the Restricted Vehicle Inventory program, type INVR (RET) at any menu "OPTION:" field or the appropriate line number from the Fleet menu. The screen will display in exactly the same way as the Vehicle Inventory Control program does.
