Use this program to merge updates of corporate ID data from an ascii file into CARS+.

If a record already exists in CARS+, fields with data from the data being merged will update the record in CARS+. If a record does not already exist in CARS+, a new record is written.

To access the program, type UPDCDPID (RET) at any menu "OPTION:" field or the appropriate number on the Corporate Accounts Sub-Menu of the Customer Maintenance Menu. The screen will then display:

OPTION: __ MERGE CDPID FILE 1. Enter Complete Path Name for CDPFIL: 1PRINT 2 3ERASE 4 5 6 7HELP 8

Enter data as follows:

1. PATHNAME

Enter the complete path name to the directory where the ascii files named CDPFIL and CONFIL reside.

PRESS "F1" AT "OPTION:" TO BEGIN.
