This report is designed for use in controlling the issuance of customer satisfaction certificates. It lists certificates which were issued during a particular time period along with the form number(s) used to print the certificates.

Each time a certificate is printed, CARS+ prompts the user to enter the form control number whether the printing was successful or not. However, a certificate can be printed only once successfully--certificates cannot be reprinted. If there was difficulty in printing, all form control numbers used will be listed on this report.

To access the Certificate Report, type CERTRPT (RET) at any menu "OPTION:"field or the appropriate line number on the the Incident Entry sub-menu of the Daily Procedures menu. The screen will then display:

Enter data as follows:

1. START DBR DATE

Using the selected date format, enter the starting DBR date. Press RET to default to today's date.

EXAMPLE: Type 053104 (RET)

2. START DBR TIME

Using the selected time format, enter the Starting DBR Time. Press RET to default to midnight.

EXAMPLE: Type 0700 (RET)

3. END DBR DATE

Using the selected date format, enter the ending DBR date. Press RET to default to today's date.

EXAMPLE: Type 053104 (RET)

4. END DBR TIME

Using the selected time format, enter the Ending DBR Time. Press RET to default to midnight.

EXAMPLE: Type 2100 (RET)

5. LOCATION

Enter:

1. Up to 6 alphanumeric characters to select a single location.

2. A Group Name representing several locations.

3. Press RETURN to accept the default location.

EXAMPLE: Type TUS (RET)

6. EMPLOYEE

Enter up to 6 alphanumeric characters to select a single Employee code. This will restrict the report to only those transactions that were entered by this employee. Press RET to default to All Employees.

EXAMPLE: Type MIKE (RET)

7. BEG REASON

Enter up to 3 numeric characters to indicate a starting reason code for the incident entries to be included in this report.

EXAMPLE: Type 1 (RET)

8. END REASON

Enter up to 3 numeric characters to indicate the ending reason code for the incident entries to be included in this report.

EXAMPLE: Type 100 (RET)

9. PRINT/ DISPLAY

Enter:

P = Print a hard copy of this report on your terminal's assigned printer or send the report as an e-mail. See the Edit Terminal Records Chapter for instructions on how to assign printers and send reports as e-mails.

D = Display this report on your terminal screen. See the General Data Entry Instructions Chapter on how to control the screen display.
