1. Book value based on standard depreciation.
2. Presumed current market value, calculated from an observed depreciation factor (entered into the screen for each run).
There are 3 versions of the Fleet Value Report. The reports are similar in that the following columns appear on all three versions:
Vehicle Number
VIN

Year
Model
Purchase Date

Current Value
Monthly Depreciation Amount Or Percent
Months Held
However, the remaining columns vary on each report. On the following chart, a "Y" (yes) or "N" (no) indicates whether or not the item is included on the particular version of the report.

Regardless of your selection parameters, this report excludes all foreign vehicles and vehicles whose Status Code is S (Sold). Because the Vehicle Depreciation Report includes vehicles that were sold in the current month, the Fleet Value Report is the one used to reconcile to General Ledger vehicle accounts.
As with many CARS+ reports, you may enter selection criteria which may result in no vehicles being reported. As an example, if you only began to use Ford products in 1998, the following selection criteria would probably exclude all vehicles;
Make FORD
Cutoff Purchase Date 12-31-97
Therefore, it is suggested that you accept the screen default values for all but one or two selection fields.
To access the Fleet Value Report 1 program, type FLTVAL1 (RET) at any menu "OPTION:" field or the appropriate line number on the Fleet menu. The screen will then display:
