Use this program to:

In order to issue local Number One Club numbers, the following needs to be in place:

  1. A GVT record "ASGN#1NO" (location sensitive) needs to be set up. Contact Thermeon's Support Dept. for this.

  2. A number range needs to be set up in this file.

  3. Define each Customer Type as to whether or not a local Number One Club numbers should be issued to that type of customer.

To access the Edit Next No 1 Club Number program, type EDITONE (RET) at any menu "OPTION:" field or the appropriate number on the Hertz Control Files Menu. The screen will then display:

Enter data as follows:

1. NEXT NO 1 CLUB #

Enter up to 10 numeric characters to define the next number to be issued for local Number 1 Club members.

EXAMPLE: Type 10000 (RET)

2. LAST NO 1 CLUB #

Enter up to 10 numeric characters to define the last number in the range to be issued for local Number 1 Club members.

EXAMPLE: Type 1999999 (RET)

The following message will display when the number issued is within 150 of the number entered in this field:

INFORM MANAGER THAN NUMBER 1 CLUB NUMBER RANGE IS SHORT.


The screen will then display:

User tip: Local Number One Club numbers are not issued to:

Customers on Lease RAs.
Customers who already have a Number One Club number.
Customers whose Customer Type is designated as a "do not rent" type.
