Use this program to:

• Change the 30 character Note field on a vehicle without having access to the full Vehicle Inventory Control screen. This should not be confused with the 90 lines of Vehicle notes that can be edited in the Notes subwindow.

These notes show in many places in CARS+ including WebPLAN.

To access the program, type VEHNTS (RET) at any menu "OPTION:" field or the appropriate number on the Fleet Menu.

The screen will then display:

1. VEHICLE NUMBER

Enter the vehicle number of the unit whose note is to be edited. If there is only one vehicle on file with the unit number entered, all pertinent data relating to that vehicle will be loaded. If more than one vehicle is on file with the unit number (multiple owners), the Vehicle File Search program will automatically be called and all vehicles with a matching unit number will be displayed for selection. EXAMPLE: Type 123456 (RET)

2. NOTES

Enter up to 3p characters of notes to be attached to the vehicle. EXAMPLE: Type GROUND FOR MAINTENANCE (RET)

PRESS "F1" AT THE "OPTION:" FIELD TO SAVE THE CHANGE.
