Use this program to:
  • Display all of the reservation data, as it comes from the Reservation Center using the CARS+ Reservation number, the Hertz Confirmation number, or by searching the Reservation file. Since not all data from the reservation is loaded into the CARS+ reservation, additional data is available.
  • Display the data from rejected reservations. Once the problem causing the rejection is resolved, the reservation can be easily re-merged.

Note: In order to use this program, ask Thermeon's Customer Support Dept. to set up GVT record "RZMRGLOG".

To access the program, type HTZRES (RET) at any menu "OPTION:"field or the appropriate number on the Hertz Data Import Programs Menu. The screen will then display:

A reservation may be brought up by entering data in either:

Field 1: Enter the CARS+ reservation number, press (RET), OR

Field 2: Enter the Hertz Confirmation number, press (RET), OR

F6 Search – press the F6 key to search the Reservation File, OR

Scroll through reservations using F2 (Next) and F4 (Previous) based on the confirmation #


Reading the reservation data:

The res data will display by listing the Hertz reservation field mnemonic, followed by the field name, and then the data for that field. For example:

03: TIME SOLD 0905260950

03 is the mnemonic (the mnemonics may also be alphabetic)

TIME SOLD is the field name

0905260950 is the data for the field

To scroll through the data for the reservation:

Use the Page Up/ Page Down keys to scroll a page at a time

Use the up and down arrow keys to scroll line by line

To print the reservation data:

Press F1

Reloading Rejected Reservations:

When CARS+ rejects a reservation, the reservation will still be accessible through this program. Enter the Hertz Confirmation number in Field 2 to find it. All of the detail will display including the rates (listed under the "BR:BEST RATE DATA" section). Once the problem for the rejection is resolved (such as adding a vehicle class to a rate code), press F8 to reload the reservation into CARS+.
