Use this program to:
  • Merge updates to Hertz Credit Cards data (provided by a system in OKC) into CARS+.

Data is merged by referencing the 7-digit Hertz Credit Card Account Number.

When the data being merged contains an account number not found in CARS+, a new record is written.

When the data being merged contains an account number that is found in CARS+, the record is re-written with the new data.

Records that already exist in CARS+ that are not referenced in the file being merged are ignored; they remain as is.

Data can be edited, if necessary, using the Edit Hertz Credit Card program.

To access the program, type MERGEHCC any menu "OPTION:" field or the appropriate number on the Hertz Australia Menu. The screen will then display:

Enter data as follows:

1. FILE NAME

Enter the path and file name of the file to be merged.

PRESS "F1" AT "OPTION:" TO BEGIN.
