Use this program to:

• Set up and define the class codes that are created from the Edit Vehicle Attribute Codes. This information can be displayed during the Reservation and Rental process.

To access the Edit Class Attribute Codes program, type EDCLSATT (RET) at any menu "OPTION:" field or the appropriate line number on the Fleet Control Files menu. The screen will then display:

Enter data as follows:

The screen will then display:

1. CLASS CODE	Enter up to 4 alphanumeric characters to indicate the vehicle Class Code. This must have been previously recorded and identified in Edit Class Codes. EXAMPLE: Type CCAR (RET)
2. ATTRIBUTE CODE	Enter up to 10 alphanumeric characters to identify the new attribute code that was previously recorded and identified in Edit Vehicle Attribute Codes. EXAMPLE: Type MAXBOX (RET)
3. ATTRIBUTE VALUE	Enter up to 60 alphanumeric characters to describe what this class Attribute's Code description should display. This is the description that can be viewed at RA Open and/or Reservations by accessing the pop up window explained at the end of this chapter.. EXAMPLE: Type 10 BOXES (RET)

The screen will then display:

PRESS "F1"AT "OPTION:" TO SAVE THE RECORD.

These Attribute Values can be viewed from the Reservations or RA menus by pressing Shift/F6 directly after the class code has been entered in field 5 of the Reservations screen or field 13 of RA Open directly from the vehicle number.
