When EDRB is transmitted via Electronic DRB, all RAs queued for transmission are automatically audited for errors which would result in Data Center rejection. RAs with errors appear on the DRB Error Log and remain queued up for corrections and inclusion in a future transmission.

On occasion, a RA may need to be transmitted even though it fails the audit process. This program is used to force the transmission of a RA which has failed the audit logic so that it can be submitted anyway.

To access the Set EDRB Error Flag program, type SETEDRB (RET) at any menu "OPTION:" field or the appropriate number on the Hertz Data Transmission Menu. The screen will then display:

OPTION: __ SET EDRB ERR

1 RA #
Location out
Date/time in
Name

1SAVE 2 3ERASE 4 5 6 7HELP 8

Enter data as follows:

1. RA#

Enter the RA number. Information about the RA will display.

The RA must be closed, not be marked as transmitted, and its EDRB error flag must be set to "Y" (which is what prevents it from being transmitted in a normal EDRB.)

Upon pressing F1 at the "OPTION:" field, the RA's EDRB error flag is re-set to "S", and it will not be passed through the audit check again. It will be submitted through the DBR program.
