Edit OKC Source Cross Reference

In order to identify those reservations that arrive from OKC via the reservation interface program, a cross reference table can be created.

Use this program to:

Create, edit, and delete records from the OKC Source Code Cross Reference table.

To access the program, type EDOKSR (RET) at any menu "OPTION:" field or the appropriate number on the Hertz Brazil Menu. The screen will then display:

General Information:

Fields 1 - 5 refer to Hertz Data Field Codes that are included in reservations received through the Reservation Interface program. Field 6 is used to enter a CARS+Source Code -- which becomes a cross reference record.

When the Reservation Interface program runs for Hertz Brazil, the program attempts to find a Source Cross Reference record whose primary key exactly matches all the values in Fields 1 - 5. If an exact match is found, the CARS+ Source Code from that record is entered on the Reservation.

If an exact match is not found, the Res. Interface program looks for a record in the Source Cross Reference File which has a single field in its primary key fields that matches one of the values in Fields 1 - 5 below. If a match is found, the CARS+ Source Code from that record is entered on the Reservation.

If a match cannot be found in either of the above cases, the Res. Interface program looks for a record in the Source Cross Reference File where the value in "RS" field (Field 2) matches the 2 leading characters in the Reservation's RS data field. If a match is found, the CARS+ Source Code from that record is entered on the Reservation.

Enter up to 6 characters representing a Agent Info.

6. SOURCE CODE

Enter the CARS+ source Code for this record. This Source must have already been set up in the Edit Source Code control file.
