For Hertz Corporate Canada locations, use this program to

  • Reprint several Express Check-In RAs (those RAs left in a drop box) one after another based on the parameters entered.

When closing a RA via the Batch Close RA program, Hertz Corporate Canada locations are prompted with a question asking if the RA is an Express Check-In. If the answer is "Y", the RA cannot be printed when it is being saved. Instead, for privacy purposes, it is flagged as an Express Check-In. Then this program is used to print the RA at a central location so that it can be mailed to the customer.

To access the Batch Reprint Express RA program, type PRINTEXP (RET) at any menu "OPTION:" field or the appropriate line number on the Hertz menu. The screen will then display:

Enter data as follows:

1. START DBR DATE

Using your selected date format, enter the starting DBR date of the Express Check-In RAs to be reprinted. The DBR date referred to here is the closing DBR date. Press RET to default to today's date.

EXAMPLE: Press 082704 (RET).

2. END DBR DATE

Using your selected date format, enter the ending DBR date for the Express Check-In RAs to be reprinted. Press RET to default to today's date.

EXAMPLE: Type 082904 (RET)

3. START CUST #

Enter up to 6 alphanumeric characters to indicate the first customer with RAs closed during the time indicated for which you want to reprint the RAs. Press RET to default to first customer on file.

4. END CUST #

Enter up to 6 alphanumeric characters to indicate the last customer's RAs to be reprinted. Press RET to default to the last customer on file.

EXAMPLE: Press (RET)

5. STATEMENT CYCLES

Each customer account is assigned a statement cycle. Enter up to 5 statement cycle codes for which you want to reprint RAs. Press RET to default to all statement cycles.

EXAMPLE: Type M (RET)

6. POSTED RAs ONLY

Enter 1 alpha character to select which RAs to print.

Y = Yes. Reprint only Express Check-In RAs that have been posted.

N = No. Reprint all Express Check-In RAs meeting the selection criteria whether or not they have been posted.

7. LOCATION

Enter:

1. Up to 6 alphanumeric characters to select a single location whose Express Check-In RAs are to be reprinted.

2. A Group Name representing several locations. Remember, the first character of a Group Name is the plus sign "+".

3. Press RETURN to default to ALL locations.

8. CUST TYPE

Enter up to 3 alphanumeric characters to indicate the customer type code of the customers whose Express Check-In RAs are to be reprinted. Press RET to default to all customer types.

9. SORT ORDER

This field allows you to select the order in which the RAs will be printed.

1 = Invoices will print in Bill-to Customer number order.
2
= Invoices will print in RA number order.
