Use this program to:

• Replace a Local CDPID number with a new one.
• Rewrite all existing Reservations and RAs with the new account number.

After a Local Corporate ID number has been set up in CARS+, the CDPID number cannot be edited from the Edit Local CDP program. However, in order to correct errors or replace an obsolete number with a new one, this program does the following:

1. Allows the user to replace an existing local CDPID number with a new number.

2. Automatically updates the Reservation File and the RA file with the new number:

It should be noted that no attempt is made to update the Customer records that reference the old CDPID number. Updates to the Customer File must be handled manually.

To access the program, type UPDCDP (RET) at any menu "OPTION:" field or the appropriate number on the Corporate Account Sub-Menu of the Customer Maintenance Menu. The screen will then display:

Enter data as follows:

1. OLD CDPID NUMBER	Enter up to 9 alphanumeric characters representing the old CDPID number. EXAMPLE: Type 12345674A (RET)
2. NEW CDPID NUMBER	Enter up to 9 alphanumeric characters representing the old CDPID number. EXAMPLE: Type 123456789 (RET))
