VOID DAMAGE REPORT

Use this program to void a previous Damage Report.

When saved, the void does the following:

• Reduces the Damage Option Charge on the RA by the value of the Damage Report voided. If the RA is closed, the Edit Close program is called automatically to force a recalculation of charges. If the RA is posted, the Edit Posted RA program is called automatically to force a recalculation of the charges.
• Changes the status of the Damage Report to "Void".
• Deletes the associated Vehicle History records, if unrepaired.
• Causes the reports that reference Damage Reports, to ignore voided Damage Reports.

To access the program, type VOIDDMG (RET) at any menu "OPTION:" field or the appropriate number on the Damage Tracking Sub-Menu of the Vehicle History Menu. The screen will then display:

Enter data as follows:

1. DAMAGE REPORT #

Enter up to 8 alphanumeric characters representing the Damage Report to be voided. EXAMPLE: Type 1909 (RET) Upon pressing (RET), the remained of the fields will display the data associated with them. These fields are dlisplay only and cannot be accessed from this program.

PRESS "F1" AT "OPTION:" TO VOID THE DAMAGE REPORT .
