Use this program to produce a listing of individual insurance data on each vehicle.

In certain countries each vehicle is insured by an individual policy (rather than one policy covering the entire fleet.) A group of fields on the second page of the Vehicle Inventory record are devoted to the insurance data on each vehicle. This report includes that data as well as other basic data on the vehicle.

To access the program, type VEHINS (RET) at any menu "OPTION:" field or the appropriate number on the Fleet Accounting Menu. The screen will then display:

Enter data as follows:

1. INSURANCE CO #

Enter up to 8 alphanumeric characters representing the Vendor Number of a particular insurance company or press (RET) to include ALL insurance companies.

2. POLICY #

Enter up to 25 alphanumeric characters representing a particular Policy Number or press (RET) to include ALL policies.

EXAMPLE: Press (RET)

3. START DATE

The date range entered in Fields 3 and 4 can refer to the effective date of the policy or the expiration date of the policy. Using your selected date format, enter the Starting Date. Press RET to default to "EARLIEST".

4. END DATE

Using your selected date format, enter the Ending Date. Press RET to default to "LATEST".

5. DATE TYPE

For the date range entered in the fields above, enter:

EFFECTIVE = The date range refers to the date the policies go into effect. or

EXPIRY = The date range refers to the date the policies expire.

6. EXCLUDE SOLD

Enter:

Y = exclude sold vehicles from the report.

N = include sold vehicles in the report.

7. SORT ORDER

Enter one of the following characters to choose the how the data should be sorted.

1 = Insurance company/ Expiration Date

2 = Insurance company/ Effective Date

3 = Insurance company/ Policy number

4 = Insurance company/ Vehicle license number

5 = Expiration date / Vehicle license number

6 = Vehicle license number
