If there is only one vehicle on file with the unit number entered, all pertinent data relating to that vehicle will be loaded. EXAMPLE: Type 216817 (RET). |
2. LICENSE |
If the Vehicle number was entered in Field 1, the license plate number displays in this field. If the Vehicle number was not entered in Field 1, enter up to 11 alphanumeric characters representing the License number. Once the Vehicle number or License number has been entered, all un-repaired vehicle history records of damage will display on the lower part of the screen. An example is shown below: |

If an estimate was entered on the Damage Report, it displays on the line of the last record for that Damage Report number. User tip: Since a Damage Report can included multiple types of damage (and thus multiple History records), the estimate applies to the entire report and not to the individual items. When some of the damage is repaired, the original estimate in the Damage Report is not reduced. Therefore, when re-displaying un-repaired damages for a report where some items were repaired earlier, the estimate amount may be misleading. |
