Edit CC Phone Numbers

For operations that are processing credit cards using EDC, this program is used to enter a phone number to call when the credit card processor requires a call in to authorize the credit card. The phone number will be displayed in the message that instructs the user to call for an authorization.

To access Edit CC Phone Numbers, type EDMRPH (RET) at any menu "OPTION:" field or the appropriate line number on the Rental Control Files menu. The screen will then display:

Enter data as follows:

1. COUNTRY CODE	If your operation has locations in more than one country, enter up to 3 alpha characters for the country code. If all of the locations are in the same country, this field can be left blank. EXAMPLE: Type CAI (RET)
2. CREDIT CARD TYPE	Enter up to 6 alphanumeric characters representing the FOP code for the credit card. EXAMPLE: Type MC (RET)
3. CC PHONE NUMBER	Enter the phone number that should be called when the credit card processor requires a phone call to authorize the credit card. EXAMPLE: Type 800-555-1212 (RET)

1. COUNTRY CODE

If your operation has locations in more than one country, enter up to 3 alpha characters for the country code.

If all of the locations are in the same country, this field can be left blank.

2. CREDIT CARD TYPE

Enter up to 6 alphanumeric characters representing the FOP code for the credit card.

Enter the phone number that should be called when the credit card processor requires a phone call to authorize the credit card.
