Use this program to:

• Produce a report of insurance and/or dealership logic rentals and reservation activity.

This report lists:

• Insurance and/or dealership logic RAs that opened during the date range requested and are currently in open, close, or void-preprint status.
• Open insurance and/or dealership logic Reservations for the pickup location with a pick up date that is more recent than the End Date.

To access the program, type INSRPT (RET) at any menu "OPTION:" field or the appropriate number on the Insurance Rental Sub-menu of the Daily Procedures Menu. The screen will then display:

Enter data as follows:

1. TYPE	Select which transactions should be included. Enter : I = Insurance RAs only (Customer on the insurance voucher is an "INS" logic type customer) D = Dealership RAs only (Customer on the insurance voucher is a "DLR" logic type customer) B = Both insurance logic and dealership logic RAs. EXAMPLE: Type I (RET)
2. START OPEN DATE	Using the selected date format, enter the Starting Opening Date. Press RET to default to the first day of the current month. The date range in Fields 2 and 3 refers to the opening date the RAs. EXAMPLE: Press (RET)
3. END OPEN DATE	Using the selected date format, enter the Ending Opening Date. Press RET to default to the current date. Remember, the date range in Fields 2 and 3 refers to the opening date the RAs. EXAMPLE: Press (RET)
4. LOCATION	For the opening location enter: 1. Up to 6 alphanumeric characters to select a single location. 2. A Group Name representing several locations (see the Chapter Edit Group Names for a discussion on location groups). Remember, the first character of a Group Name is the plus sign "+". 3. Enter "ALL" to include all locations. EXAMPLE: Type TUS (RET)
5. PRINT/ DISPLAY	Enter: P = Print a hard copy of this report on your terminal's assigned printer. See the Edit Terminal Records Chapter for instructions on how to assign printers. D = Display this report on this screen. See the General Data Entry Instructions Chapter on how to control the screen display. EXAMPLE: Type P (RET)

The screen will then display:

Notes about the report:

Insurance logic RAs in the following statuses are included: Open, Close, Void-Preprint.

RAs are sorted by the Location Code (opening location) and then sub-sorted by the insurance or dealership customer number on the insurance voucher.

Reservations are sorted by the Pick up Location.

Columns:

Current RA'S -this is the number of RAs that opened on the date entered in the "End Open Date" field.

MTD RA'S - this is the number of RAs that have opened during the date range requested (typically Month To Date)

Future Reservations - This is the number of open reservations with a date later than the date entered in Field 3 and RAs in Void Preprint status. If only insurance logic RAs are requested on the report, then only insurance logic reservations are included. If only dealership logic RAs are requested on the report, then only dealership logic reservations are included. If both types of RAs are requested, then both types of reservations are included.
