Fuel Charge Summary Report

Use this program to produce a summary report of:

RAs with prepaid fuel and the accompanying fuel charges
RAs with fuel cards and the accompanying fuel charges
RAs without either of the above with fuel charges
RAs without either of the above and without fuel charges

To access the program, type FUELSUM (RET) at any menu "OPTION:"field or the appropriate number on the Daily Audit Reports sub-menu of the Daily Procedures Menu. The screen will then display:

Enter data as follows:

1. START DBR DATE

Using the selected date format, enter the starting close DBR date. Press RET to default to yesterday's date.

EXAMPLE: Type 12-04-08 (RET)

2. END DBR DATE

Using the selected date format, enter the ending close DBR date. Press RET to default to yesterday's date

EXAMPLE: Press (RET)

3. LOCATION

For the renting location, enter:

1. Up to 6 alphanumeric characters to select a single location.

2.A Group Name representing several locations. Remember, the first character of a Group Name is the plus sign "+".

3."ALL" to include all locations

EXAMPLE: Type TUS (RET)

4. SORT BY

To select the sort, enter:

1 = Location as the primary sort; then sort by DBR Date.

2 = DBR Date as the primary sort; then sort by Location.

EXAMPLE: Type 1(RET)

User tip: Regardless of the sort choice, the third level sort is by the value in the Prepaid Fuel field on the RAs.

5. PRINT/
DISPLAY

Enter:

P = Print a hard copy of this report on your terminal's assigned printer. See the Edit Terminal Records Chapter for instructions on how to assign printers.

D = Display this report on this screen. See the General Data Entry Instructions Chapter on how to control the screen display.

Notes about this report:

The columns on this report are:

Primary sort choice

Secondary sort choice

Number of RAs with Prepaid Fuel = "Y"

Total fuel charges on those RAs

Number of RAs with Prepaid Fuel = "C" (fuel card)

Total fuel charges on those RAs

Number of RAs where fuel charge was added at Close.

Prepaid Fuel is neither "Y" or "C",

Includes RAs with lowercase "y'.

Total fuel charges on those RAs.

Number of RAs that do not have a fuel charge.

Total discounted Time and Miles/KMs for all RAs reported.

Subtotals print for each primary sort section.
