To access the program, type SCNCCA (RET) at any menu "OPTION:" field or the appropriate number on the Electronic Draft Capture Menu. The screen will then display:

Enter data as follows:


F1 = CREDIT CARD NUMBER

Press the F/1 Function key and then enter the account number of the credit card to be researched.

EXAMPLE: Type 512111111111111111 (RET)


NOTE:

The PCI compliant CARS+ card masking format is to display the first 4 and last 4 characters of a credit card number with an asterisk in between.

Example: The MC credit card above should be typed as 5121*1111


The screen will then display:

For each authorization request found, the following data will be displayed:

The credit card number masked

The RA# or Reservation number that the authorization was taken on

The authorization number returned by the bank if any

The amount authorized

The response code (RE column) from the bank will contain one of the following codes:

  • 00 = approved
  • 04 = referral (call the credit card authorization call center)
  • 05 = this card was reported as either lost or stolen
  • 06 = the bank requested that it be tried again
  • 07 = declined

Date the auth was requested

Time the auth was requested

Employee Code of the individual who requested the auth.
