When doing rentals based on IT (International Tour) packages, there may be certain circumstances where the renter is required to pay an additional charge. For example, rentals from a tour operator that specializes in winter ski packages may require a coverage when a Four Wheel drive vehicle is rented (assuming that the coverage is not included in the tour package).

Use this program to.

• Create a list of mandatory "out of voucher" options that are applied automatically to the appropriate rentals. These options are IT and Class Code sensitive. They are applied to any reservation or RA with the appropriate IT and Class combination. Since they are "out of voucher" options, they are the responsibility of the renter.

To access the Edit IT Mandatory Options program, type EDMAND (RET) at any menu "OPTION:" field or the appropriate line number on the IT Control Files menu. The screen will then display:

Enter data as follows:

1. IT CODE	Enter up to 15 alphanumeric characters representing an existing International Tour (IT) Number. Remember that the first two characters must be "IT". EXAMPLE: Type ITCANSAS (RET).
2. OPTION CODE	Enter up to 5 alphanumeric characters representing an existing Option Code. EXAMPLE: Type CVG2 (RET).
3. CLASS	Enter up to 4 alphanumeric characters representing an existing Vehicle Class Code. EXAMPLE: Type L (RET).
4. RATE	If the regular retail rate set up in the Edit Option Rates program should be used, you may leave this field blank. If, on the other hand, if a special rate should be in effect for this option, enter a rate here. Rates entered in Field 4 will override the retail rate. EXAMPLE: Type: 4.00 (RET)

The screen will then display:
